The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Chris Dean and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One throws an overhand right that lands on Sheck's shoulder, as Sheck tries to avoid the shot.
Sheck with the counter takedown but One avoids it easily.
Sheck ducks under a wild hook from One.
Sheck drops down looking to force a counter takedown but One defends it well.
Sheck has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as One is landing a low percentage of strikes.
One misses with a looping left.
Sheck keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from One.
Sheck is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
One throws a shot from downtown. Sheck moves away and avoids it.
And Sheck tries to counter it with a takedown but One pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Sheck counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sheck.
Sheck lands a couple of elbows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sheck postures up and lands a big shot to One's brow.
Sheck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

One knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sheck on the ground.

One moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Sheck.

One thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

One wants to stand but Sheck has his arm trapped.

Sheck is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but One frees his head nicely. Oh but Sheck has switched to an armbar! One is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
