Solo comes to the cage accompanied by John Williams - Star Wars Theme. Tourney Champ is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solo fails with the takedown
and Champ counters with a straight right hand.
A swing and a miss from Champ.

Champ has taken the fight to the clinch.
Champ takes a shot to the head.
Champ is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Solo is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Han Solo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Champ tries to work over Solo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Champ lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Solo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Champ is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Solo breaks from the clinch.
Solo walks into a stiff left hand from Champ.
Solo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Solo is rocked!

Oh Solo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Solo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Champ paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Champ looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Champ moves away from the strike by Solo.
Champ connects with a nice looking jab.
Champ fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
