Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrews has chosen Go To Sleep- Eminem Ft. Obie Trice & DMX as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Vince Andrews enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Russell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vince Andrews! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrews throws a looping overhand right but Russell ducks down to avoid it. Russell tries to counter by clinching up but Andrews breaks away and moves out of range. Russell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andrews but Andrews pushes him off and we're back to square one. Russell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Andrews throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Andrews throws a head kick but Russell moves out of range.
Russell throws a nice inside leg kick. Russell doesn't manage to clinch there - Andrews circles away.
Russell wants to clinch. Russell fails to land the takedown. Andrews shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Russell swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andrews lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Russell is breathing heavily. Andrews connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Left hook, right uppercut from Andrews. Russell looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Andrews closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Andrews avoiding damage as Russell throws knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russell breaks the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Andrews. Those never looked like landing. Russell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Russell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Andrews throws a sloppy head kick and Russell moves out of range easily. A punch combination from Andrews misses. Andrews fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Russell is out of range. Andrews throws a series of punches but Russell avoids them all with ease. Andrews connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Russell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andrews tries to avoid it but Russell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andrews to the ground. Andrews escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Russell clinches up against the cage. Andrews breaks the clinch.
Andrews connects with a good right hand that stumbles Russell. Russell circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Russell is rocked! Andrews throws a monster overhand right that drops Russell! Andrews follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vince Andrews! In his post fight interview, Vince Andrews started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
