The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zorlac closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Fedor Sambo has been cut.
Zorlac forces Sambo back against the cage and clinches.
Sambo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sambo lands a lovely overhand right.
Zorlac looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sambo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zorlac.
It looks like Mansor Zorlac has been cut.

Zorlac tries to clinch but Sambo is having none of it.

Zorlac looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sambo is fending him off so far but Zorlac persists. Nope, Sambo circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zorlac looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Sambo counters with a nice uppercut.
Zorlac is breathing heavily.

No luck for Zorlac with that takedown attempt.
A nice side step and Sambo releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mansor Zorlac. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zorlac.
Sambo lands a big right hook! Zorlac looks hurt but is still standing! Sambo lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Zorlac falls down and Sambo dives in with a huge hammer fist! Zorlac's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Sambo runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Fedor Sambo!
