Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noel Rigel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Spade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Spade has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Noel Rigel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 42 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott Spade!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rigel steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Spade. That one must have hurt.
Rigel walks into a jab.
Spade throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rigel on the side of the head.
Rigel lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Spade moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Spade lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rigel backs up against the cage.
Spade lands an overhand right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Spade closes the distance and pushes Rigel back into the cage.
Spade lands a right hand.

Spade's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Spade avoids a kick to the body.
Rigel jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rigel throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Rigel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rigel misses with a left hand

and Spade decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rigel's guard.
Spade is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Spade postures up in Rigel's guard and throws a big left but Rigel blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spade working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Spade with a flurry of punches that miss.
Spade in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Spade is working Rigel over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Spade works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Spade takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Rigel has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Spade missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Spade controlling the pace.

Spade has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rigel is staying active underneath Spade, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Spade throwing shots but Rigel is blocking nicely.
Spade is nestled in close to Rigel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Spade takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Spade lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Rigel wants to get back to his feet.

Spade scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Spade looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rigel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rigel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Spade is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Spade seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Spade takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Spade throwing shots but Rigel is blocking nicely.
Rigel has hold of Spade's hands but Spade slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Spade is nestled in close to Rigel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Spade throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rigel on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.


Rigel is rocked!
Rigel is breathing heavily.
Spade lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Rigel! More strikes land and this one is all over! Spade jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Spade!
