The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pudwill tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Newton is in Pudwill 's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Newton's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Newton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Pudwill being controlled here, momentarily.
Pudwill pushes a forearm under Newton's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Newton is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
