Mitchel shoots in but no luck this time.

Sovnouski works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Mitchel is looking to clinch but Sovnouski is avoiding it.
Mitchel lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Sovnouski swats away the attempt to clinch by Mitchel.
A shot to the liver by Sovnouski. Beautiful body shot.
Mitchel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sovnouski scores with a punch to the head.
Mitchel has his takedown stuffed
and Sovnouski counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mitchel tries to clinch but Sovnouski is having none of it.
Sovnouski keeps the fight on the outside.
Sovnouski feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mitchels jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mitchel tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sovnouski defends well and Mitchel ends up having to push Sovnouski into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Mitchel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mitchel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sovnouski connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Sovnouski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sovnouski cracks Mitchel with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sovnouski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mitchel to stand back up!
Mitchel is rocked!
Sovnouski sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Mitchel's defenses. It connects perfectly with Mitchel's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
