Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santiago Riasco!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riasco fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Molina sprawls well initially but Riasco persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Riasco is thwarting Molina's attempts to control the position.
Riasco tries to pass the half guard into mount. Molina knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Riasco is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Molina as he works his way to full guard.
Riasco tries to free his leg and advance position but Molina is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Riasco thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Riasco shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Molina pinned against the cage. Molina gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Riasco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Molina tries to avoid it but Riasco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Molina to the ground. Molina escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jeffrey Molina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santiago Riasco.
Molina throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Riasco shoots in and gets a takedown into Molina's guard.

Riasco drops back looking for a leg! Molina is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Molina manages to kick Riasco off! Riasco jumps back into Molina's guard.

Riasco goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Molina rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Riasco's guard! Nice work there by Molina!
Molina is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Riasco has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Molina is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Riasco.
