Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jay Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Death Ripping!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ripping's coach down at Golden Gym 8 Elite Coachs was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ripping's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Walker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ripping to score with a decent uppercut.
Walker is looking to clinch.
Ripping swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Death Ripping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ripping feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Walker sprawling to the canvas! Walker rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ripping finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ripping lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Walker falls backwards - clearly groggy! Ripping dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Death Ripping!
