Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Hendriks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Hendriks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Payne!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendriks misses with a hook
and Payne counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Dave Hendriks has been cut.
Payne moves out of range of the body kick.
Hendriks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Payne. That did some damage!
Payne feints and as Hendriks raises his hands in defense, Payne changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hendriks is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Payne postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Payne has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Payne thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hendriks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Payne wants to control from the top but Hendriks keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A combination from Payne does no damage.
Payne misses with the combination.
Payne blocks a head kick by Hendriks.
Payne misses with a double jab
and Hendriks counters with a nice low kick that buckles Payne's knee momentarily.
Hendriks jabs Payne right on the nose. Payne blinks but takes it well.
Hendriks thows a body kick. Payne tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Both fighters circling a little - Hendriks finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dave Hendriks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Payne moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Payne throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hendriks lands a leg kick that knocks Payne off balance momentarily.

Payne has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hendriks.

Payne avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Payne cracks Hendriks with an open hand slap.
Payne keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hendriks.
Payne lands a jab to Hendriks's midsection.
Payne chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hendriks can pounce on him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Payne scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dave Hendriks's cut is getting worse.
Hendriks throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Hendriks avoids the body shot from Payne.
Hendriks throws a body kick that misses.
Payne shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Payne was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hendriks is trying to escape the position but Payne is controlling the position.
Hendriks is looking for a sweep.
Payne looks up at the clock and then as Hendriks takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Payne smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Hendriks is not content to let Payne control the position.
Payne thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Payne lands some shots froms side control.
Hendriks can't do much from the bottom here.
Payne moves into full mount!
Hendriks is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Payne dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dave Hendriks's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hendriks.
Payne cracks Hendriks with an open hand slap.
Dave Hendriks's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Payne drops Hendriks with a big left hand and mounts him. Hendriks is in big trouble!
Hendriks is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Payne is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Hendriks goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Payne!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Payne!
John Payne looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'By the way Jules, pulp fiction is one of my favorite movies. '.
