Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Bogdynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Nickoson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bogdynski comes into the arena with Slash - Wicked Stone blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bryan Nickoson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pablo Bogdynski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bryan Nickoson! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Nickoson as Bogdynski shoots in. Bogdynski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nickoson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bogdynski somewhat. Nickoson leaves Bogdynski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pablo Bogdynski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bogdynski swings for the body but Nickoson moves out of range.
Bogdynski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nickoson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nickoson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bogdynski gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bogdynski has been working on his balance at Russian Fighting Community Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Nickoson. Nickoson is trying to break the clinch but Bogdynski is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bogdynski has picked Nickoson up - he's going for a ride! Bogdynski dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Bogdynski throwing shots but Nickoson is blocking nicely. Bogdynski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nickoson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nickoson wants to control but Bogdynski is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bogdynski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Nickoson has managed to free his arm - good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bogdynski missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bogdynski is trying to control the action in half guard but Nickoson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bogdynski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nickoson's head. Bogdynski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nickoson is just riding it out for now. Bogdynski eventually gives up the hold. Bogdynski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nickoson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bogdynski thows a huge punch but Nickoson dodges it nicely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bogdynski is working for a kimura but Nickoson is defending it quite comfortably.
Bogdynski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bogdynski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nickoson sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nickoson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bogdynski performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Bogdynski is trying for a kimura here. Nickoson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bogdynski wins by kimura!
