Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Levi Mathis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mace Mullins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mathis.
Mathis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mullins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mathis somewhat.

Mathis manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Mullins keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Mullins wants the takedown. Mathis is fighting it off but Mullins persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mathis's guard against the cage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mullins looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
