Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Driscoll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmy Lowler!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driscoll looks to throw a body kick

and Lowler counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lowler.
Driscoll will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Driscoll looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lowler trying to control the position from guard on top but Driscoll is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lowler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Driscoll working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lowler.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lowler in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lowler trying to control but Driscoll is working from the bottom.
Lowler is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lowler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Driscoll as he avoids it easily.
Driscoll seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Lowler stuffs the takedown.

Lowler looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Driscoll!
Driscoll taking punishment in the form of punches.
Lowler is looking to take a break and control but Driscoll is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lowler creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Lowler landing a few strikes.
Driscoll is not content to let Lowler control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lowler connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Driscoll some visible discomfort.
Lowler in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Driscoll looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Lowler turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Lowler!
