The Virus looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The Virus preventing the sweep.
The Virus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. DeMarco is keeping the position for now.
The Virus is still trying to improve position.
DeMarco has his foot on The Virus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Virus works his way back into a safe position though.
DeMarco might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The Virus is working DeMarco over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
DeMarco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
DeMarco working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Virus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Virus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

DeMarco had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. The Virus defends it easily.
DeMarco is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The Virus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as DeMarco works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

DeMarco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Virus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DeMarco has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Virus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The Virus sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. DeMarco doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! The Virus paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from DeMarco - great work!
