The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balotelli scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Moss doesn't seem bothered though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moss shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Balotelli sprawls well. Balotelli wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Moss gets slowly back to his feet.

Moss takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Moss is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Balotelli tries a quick counter leg kick but Moss is wise to it.
Balotelli dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Moss. That did some damage!

and Balotelli counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Balotelli throws a leg kick which misses Moss's front leg but catches the back leg as Moss tries to avoid it.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Moss might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Moss crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Balotelli - the referee stops the clock and Moss gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Balotelli. Moss manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Moss. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Balotelli gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Moss.

Balotelli pushes Moss back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Balotelli lands a good knee to the midsection. Moss won't want to take too many of those.
Moss takes an elbow to the temple.
Balotelli drops Moss with a big knee straight up the middle! Moss is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Oh Moss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Balotelli jerks Moss's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Moss drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Balotelli goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Balotelli because Moss was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
