Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mr Roethlisburger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mr Roethlisburger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edward Woodward!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roethlisburger stuffs the takedown attempt from Woodward. Woodward gets slowly back to his feet.
Roethlisburger looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Woodward closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Woodward lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Woodward shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roethlisburger pinned against the cage. Roethlisburger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Woodward closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Woodward is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Woodward is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Roethlisburger is just riding it out for now. Woodward eventually gives up the hold.
