Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Robinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pat Hyde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson moves into range and clinches up with Hyde.
Robinson breaks the clinch.
Robinson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hyde's half guard.
Robinson prevents Hyde from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hyde is working hard here to advance position.
Robinson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Robinson works his way into side control.
Robinson happy to just control the position for now.
Robinson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hyde tries to bench press Robinson off him but Robinson keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hyde is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Robinson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Hyde's face as Robinson controls the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Robinson closes the distance and clinches.
Robinson has Hyde pressed against the cage, preventing Hyde from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hyde has had enough of the clinch but Robinson keeps him there for the moment.

Robinson has clasped his hands together around Hyde's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Robinson is putting a hurting on Hyde here, landing some big shots from side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hyde is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Robinson dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Hyde fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Robinson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hyde was covering up waiting for the punch and Robinson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Robinson distracts Hyde with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hyde is rocked!
Robinson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Oh Hyde is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Robinson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Robinson gets to his feet and stands over Hyde, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hyde felt that one! Robinson unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hyde from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Robinson!
