Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rose Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Skeet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose Red could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to DJ Skeet's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rose Red! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Skeet! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skeet takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Red definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Red misses with an uppercut. Skeet saw that one coming. Red throws a hook to the side of Skeet's head but Skeet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Good exchange - Red coming out on top. Skeet buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Red throws a jab when Skeet was well out of range. Red looks to land a combination but Skeet avoids it well. A jab from Red misses. Skeet flicks out a counter leg kick but Red steps away. Skeet goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Skeet takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Skeet slips a jab from Red. Skeet tries to land a leg kick but Red saw it coming and moves away.
Red's corner calls for a 1-2. Red obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Skeet has Red up against the cage in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Skeet has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Red is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Skeet looking to throw knees to the head but Red is blocking nicely.
Skeet wants a takedown.
Red misses with a body punch.
Skeet creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Red's defenses.
It looks like Rose Red has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skeet goes for a takedown in the clinch but Red prevents it.
Rose Red has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DJ Skeet. Skeet drops down looking for an ankle pick but Red pulls his leg out and moves away.
Red scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Red connects with a jab. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Skeet, right into the meat.
Good leg kick by Skeet there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Red digs a good body shot into Skeet's ribs. Skeet throws a hook but Red blocks it. Red throws an overhand right that lands on Skeet's shoulder, as Skeet tries to avoid the shot. DJ Skeet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Skeet keeps the fight on the outside. Red getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Red connects with a jab. Rose Red seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Red.
Skeet with the counter takedown but Red avoids it easily. Red tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Red swings widly with a right hand
and Skeet counters with a single leg into guard. Red didn't expect that. Red has momentary wrist control but Skeet slips an elbow through the middle. Skeet won't allow Red to get back to his feet. Skeet cracks Red with a solid left hand. Red trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Red is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Skeet changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Red fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Red misses with an uppercut. Red tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Red is looking to clinch but Skeet is avoiding it.
Skeet closes the distance and clinches. Skeet has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Red clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Skeet lands punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Red right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Skeet scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Red is trying to get back to his feet but Skeet has full control of the position and if anything, Red has just worked his way into a worse spot. Skeet scores with strikes from the back.

A close round but DJ Skeet will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rose Red's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Red circles away from the clinch attempt letting Red counter with a right hand. Red fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Red throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Red misses the jab. Skeet misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Red to counter with a crisp jab. Skeet moves in looking to clinch but Red pushes him off. Red swings away with a leg kick that misses. Skeet only half commits to the counter leg kick. Red is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Red lunges at Skeet with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Skeet's hand. Red blocks a head kick by Skeet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Skeet misses. Red was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Skeet defending well as Red loads up on a big left hand. Red throws a shot to the body.
Red throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Skeet. Skeet takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Skeet pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Skeet takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Skeet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Skeet tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Red looks to land a right hand but Skeet moved out of range. A punch lands to the side of Skeet 's head but he takes it in his stride. Skeet closes the distance and pushes Red back into the cage. Skeet has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Red is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Skeet scores with a nice hook to the head. Red prevents the takedown attempt.

Skeet tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Skeet has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Red seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Skeet can turn it around. Red gets underhooks to prevent Skeet's takedown attempt.

Red avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A short left from Skeet. Skeet throws an elbow that misses.

Red stalling in the clinch but Skeet improves position. Skeet tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Red's elbow. Red gets underhooks to prevent Skeet's takedown attempt.

Skeet takes one to the chin there. Red misses with a straight left. Red works the jab nicely. Rose Red is winning the standup battle so far. Red lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Red throws a sloppy head kick and Skeet counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Red! This has been an exciting period of action! Red is pushing Skeet's head away, looking to escape. Skeet manages to hold on to the position though. Skeet lands a decent elbow from side control. Skeet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Red. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Red wants to control but Skeet postures up. Red tries to buck Skeet off but Skeet is having none of it. Skeet trying to control the action but Red is working from the bottom. Red throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Skeet working the ground and pound from side control. DJ Skeet has got the better of the ground game so far. Red is trying to buck Skeet off. Skeet remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rose Red dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Rose Red's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Red crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Skeet - the referee stops the clock and Red gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Skeet. Red manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Skeet closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Skeet lands a takedown into guard.
Red is looking to stand up but Skeet isn't so interested in that idea. Skeet makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Skeet content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Skeet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Red swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Red is looking to stand up but Skeet isn't so interested in that idea. Skeet lands a couple of decent looking shots. Skeet postures up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Red throws a shot from downtown. Skeet moves away and avoids it. A chopping leg kick lands by Skeet. Skeet keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Red. Skeet feints a counter leg kick. Red with a body punch. A glancing blow. Skeet connects with a solid leg kick. Skeet has taken the fight to the clinch.
Skeet turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Skeet working the body and head with strikes. Red pushes Skeet away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Skeet gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Red trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Skeet working the body and head with strikes. Red is working to avoid the ground and pound but Skeet connects with a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skeet lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Red down.
Skeet prevents Red from escaping the position. Skeet is trying to move to mount but Red reverses beautifully and ends up in Skeet's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Skeet keeping moving, preventing Red from controlling successfully. Skeet wants to stand up but Red is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Red passes easily into side control. Nice work. Red looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Skeet is avoiding damage well.
Skeet sneaks out the side door and pushes Red away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Skeet slips under a jab from Red. Red fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Red steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Skeet. That one must have hurt. Skeet circles away from the clinch attempt and Skeet counters with a nice double leg into side control. Red won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Skeet is chipping away with strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Red looks to move to half guard but instead Skeet has passed into mount! Damn! Skeet lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Skeet raining down shots from the mount! Skeet landing strikes from the mount and Red is in trouble! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Red taking shots to the head. Skeet looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Red tries to buck Skeet off but he can't manage it. Skeet putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Skeet avoids the attempt from Red to control.
And that's the end of the fight! DJ Skeet comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Skeet has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
