Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Walls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darnell Singletary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Walls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darnell Singletary!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singletary scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Walls might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Singletary has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Singletary gets a takedown into half guard.
Walls desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Walls is staying active underneath Singletary, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singletary is trying to work for a kimura but Walls is defending well.

Singletary wants to work for an arm triangle but Walls is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Singletary really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walls. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Walls tries to hold on but Singletary postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Walls is squirming around, avoiding Singletary's attempts to control the action.
Singletary throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Walls is desperately trying to improve his position but Singletary has a good base and remains in mount.
Walls really is a fat lump.
Singletary throwing strikes but Walls bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.

Singletary looking for subs off his back but Walls has passed one foot through into half guard.
Singletary is looking to get back to is feet but Walls passes into side control.
Singletary is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Walls is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Walls throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Singletary is wriggling around trying to escape.
Poor strikes thrown by Walls there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Singletary wants to hold on but Walls pushes him away.

Walls looking to finish Singletary with some ground and pound. This is bad for Singletary!

Walls wants to control the pace but Singletary is squirming around nicely.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Walls won't let Singletary get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Walls swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Singletary is now in Walls's guard. A big mistake from Walls there, giving up the dominant position!

A close round but Darnell Singletary will probably get the nod.
That's time! Walls's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Let's hope that Singletary has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Singletary must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Walls preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Walls has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Singletary can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Singletary passes into half guard.
Singletary not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Singletary is working for a kimura but Walls is defending it quite comfortably.

Walls with the active half guard here but Singletary passes nicely into side control.

Walls tries to buck Singletary off but Singletary is having none of it.
Singletary wants to lay and pray for a moment but Walls keeps working.

Singletary tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Singletary has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
You can see the frustration on Walls's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Singletary throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walls was covering up waiting for the punch and Singletary finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Walls escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Singletary gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darnell Singletary showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Singletary decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Singletary is pressing down on Walls's thigh, looking to free his foot. Walls is holding on for now.
Walls is trying to maintain the position but Singletary is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singletary is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Walls is controlling Singletary's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Singletary seems to be working for a kimura but Walls defends the submission attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Walls tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Singletary paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Singletary gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Walls is trying to break the clinch but Singletary is controlling him.
Walls is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Singletary gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Singletary pushes Walls back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Walls is trying to pull guard but Singletary turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Singletary breaks the clinch.
Singletary lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Walls at a distance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Singletary shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Singletary was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Walls prevents Singletary from moving into mount.
Singletary misses with the ground and pound.
Walls is looking for a sweep.
Singletary is looking to take a break and control but Walls is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Singletary tries to advance to mount but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Singletary shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Walls is trying to defend but Singletary finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Darnell Singletary comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Singletary has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
