Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josef Dellal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shunsui Kyoraku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josef Dellal is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josef Dellal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shunsui Kyoraku! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dellal takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kyoraku throws a leg kick and Dellal counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dellal trying to control from half guard but Kyoraku is working away. Dellal is working for a kimura but Kyoraku is defending it quite comfortably.
Kyoraku is doing well to control the position and prevent Dellal from advancing to side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kyoraku gets full guard. Kyoraku looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dellal trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dellal wants to control from the top but Kyoraku keeps moving. Dellal won't allow Kyoraku to sweep him here. Dellal controls from within his opponent's guard. Kyoraku has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Dellal is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Dellal drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kyoraku works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dellal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kyoraku defends it nicely. We've been informed that Kyoraku has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josef Dellal. That's going to take a lot out of him. A punch lands to the side of Dellal 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kyoraku thuds a left hand into Dellal's body. Kyoraku with a hook. Dellal looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Josef Dellal has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Kyoraku throws a sloppy head kick and Dellal moves out of range easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dellal. Kyoraku misses with a jab, cross combination.

Dellal slips a jab from Kyoraku. Kyoraku goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kyoraku ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kyoraku misses with a wild body shot. Kyoraku throws a lazy head kick and Dellal counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kyoraku! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dellal swings around for an armbar but Kyoraku sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dellal's guard. Kyoraku slips nicely into half guard. Dellal wants to get back to full guard. Dellal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dellal wants to control but Kyoraku is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kyoraku wants to get back to his feet.
Kyoraku controlling the action here. Kyoraku is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dellal tries to hold on but Kyoraku pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyoraku lands with a kick to the temple. Dellal shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Kyoraku throws a head kick that Dellal semi-blocks.
Kyoraku throws a leg kick and Dellal counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dellal passes Kyoraku's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kyoraku is trying to get back to full guard. Kyoraku has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dellal is working away from the top position though. Dellal wants to take a breather but Kyoraku is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kyoraku is holding on to half guard well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kyoraku is staying active underneath Dellal, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dellal seems to be working for a kimura but Kyoraku defends the submission attempt. The fighters are battling for position here. Kyoraku manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Dellal trying to control the position from guard on top but Kyoraku is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kyoraku looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kyoraku has his hands on Dellal's head, controlling the position. Kyoraku lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Kyoraku has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dellal can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kyoraku controls the pace. Dellal looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kyoraku wants to control from the top but Dellal keeps moving. Kyoraku stands and steps away. Dellal gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kyoraku misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dellal just trying to survive but Kyoraku is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Kyoraku controls the action. A lull in the action here.
Kyoraku is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Dellal trying to control the hands but Kyoraku won't let him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shunsui Kyoraku showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Josef Dellal's cut. That's time! Dellal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kyoraku looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dellal is one step ahead there. Dellal postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kyoraku is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dellal, into his guard. Kyoraku is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Josef Dellal has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dellal is trying to keep Kyoraku in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dellal is really struggling to control Kyoraku but he's trying to hold on to the position. Kyoraku trying to control but Dellal is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dellal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kyoraku is looking to improve his position.
Kyoraku preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Dellal is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kyoraku sees it coming and defends easily. Dellal wants to pass the guard but Kyoraku is defending well. Kyoraku gets back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kyoraku pulls Dellal in close to his closed guard and prevents Dellal from doing any damage or advancing position. Shunsui Kyoraku is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dellal trying to control the position from guard on top but Kyoraku is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kyoraku wants to sweep here but Dellal controlling him for the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dellal is fighting to break Kyoraku's control of his arms but Kyoraku is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
