Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elton Mccoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Typo Tap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Typo Tap will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elton Mccoy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Typo Tap! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tap drives through with a takedown into guard. Mccoy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tap gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mccoy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mccoy has his foot on Tap's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tap works his way back into a safe position though. Tap avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tap showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Tap trying to control but Mccoy is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tap stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mccoy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tap looking to sit in guard and control but Mccoy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tap can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mccoy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Tap utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mccoy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Tap isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mccoy stacks Tap on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mccoy! Mccoy decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tap to his feet. Tap misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mccoy half committed to a counter leg kick. Mccoy goes for a double leg but Tap avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tap continues to drive forward.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tap decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Tap prevents Mccoy from standing back up.

Mccoy regains full guard. Nicely done. Mccoy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mccoy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tap defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mccoy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tap can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tap must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mccoy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Tap rolls with it to try and escape but Mccoy cranks on the arm and Tap is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
