Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hidalgo Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montoya has chosen El Toro as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jin Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hidalgo Montoya!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Montoya.

Kim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kim wants it to stay on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Montoya closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kim quickly recovers to half guard.
Kim pushes Montoya off looking to stand but Montoya dives back in and keeps control.
Montoya is trying to control. Kim wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Montoya is trying to work for a kimura but Kim is defending well.
Montoya takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Montoya is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kim doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Montoya.

Montoya is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Kim to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Kim pushes Montoya off and scrambles back to his feet.
Hidalgo Montoya seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Montoya pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kim is out of range and Montoya settles back down.

Montoya fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kim has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Hidalgo Montoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hidalgo Montoya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Montoya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Hidalgo Montoya tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
