Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tt Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for John Lord has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Lord!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tt Rex!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord throws a one two combo.
Rex dodges the punch combination from Lord.
Rex takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rex throws a jab when Lord was well out of range.
Lord misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rex ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lord moves away.
An attempted straight right counter from Lord misses the target.
Lord throws a nice looking combination but Rex bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A little jabbing left from Rex on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lord digs a good body shot into Rex's ribs.
A telegraphed right hand from Rex misses the target.
Lord with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Lord slips a jab and a cross from Rex.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rex will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It looked like Lord wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Rex dives in and scores a takedown into Lord's guard.

Lord manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oooooh!!! Lord has knocked Rex down with a huge combo! Lord steps away and waves a wobbly Rex back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Rex looks for a takedown but Lord sprawls well.
Rex is still on wobbly legs! Can Lord finish him?
Lord uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rex.
Rex seems to have recovered his senses.
Lord slips a jab from Rex.
Rex throws out a loose jab but Lord uses good head movement to avoid it.
A counter left hand to the body from Lord misses its target.
Lord scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Lord throws a big counter combination but Rex scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Rex tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lord sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rex somewhat.
John Lord has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tt Rex.

Lord lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rex circles away quickly and effectively.

Lord pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rex back to the cage. Lord follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rex fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lord avoids it really well and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lord, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
