Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rock Man has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rock Man seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Ray! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ray scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Ray moves into range and clinches up with Man. Man tries to break free but Ray pushes him back against the cage. Ray drags the fight down to the ground.
Man sitting in guard, not really doing much. Man looking to sit in guard and control but Ray gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Man looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Man is trying to keep Ray in close.
Man looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Man looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man pulls Ray in close to his closed guard and prevents Ray from doing any damage or advancing position. Man could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Man wants to sweep but no luck. Ray being controlled here momentarily. Ray is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ray pushes down on Man's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ray stalling. Man tries to get to full guard but Ray has control of the leg. Ray is trying to work for a kimura but Man is defending well.
Ray is trying to control the action in half guard but Man is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man misses with a wild combination.
Man connects with a single shot there. Man misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Man. Man shoots in for a double leg but Ray sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Man is breathing heavily. Man closes the distance and clinches. Man holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Ray dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Man pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ray throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Man tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ray is in Man's guard. Ray is stalling in the full guard. Man is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ray wants to stand but Man is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Ray dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ray with a hook. Man with a lazy takedown attempt and Ray moves into the clinch. Ray fails to pull guard.
Ray pulls Man into guard.
Ray keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Man throws an elbow that misses. Ray uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Man's guard. Nice move by Ray! Man not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Ray is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Man is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ray defends well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ray trying to stand up but can't free himself from Man's guard. Man keeping full guard, as Ray tries to pass. Ray trying to control but Man is working from the bottom. Jim Ray has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ray looking to sit in guard and control but Man gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ray trying to control the position here. Ray is wriggling around but Man manages to pass to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Ray as he works his way to full guard.
Ray pulls Man in close to prevent any damage. Man cracks Ray with a solid left hand. Ray working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Man doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Man manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ray keeping full guard, as Man tries to pass. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ray utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ray tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Man pinned against the cage. Man gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ray swats away the attempt to clinch by Man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Ray showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Man manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ray on his heels. He'll look to pass Ray's guard now, I'm sure. Man looking to pass the guard. Man stands and throws Ray's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ray is not content to let Man control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ray is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ray wants to get back to his feet but Man drags him back down. Man lands a nice forearm strike. Ray can't do much from the bottom here. Man has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Ray! Man controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray taking shots to the head. Ray keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Man with shots to the head and body - Ray looks very uncomfortable down there. Man fails to advance to Ray's back. Ray is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Man goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ray is on top in guard.
Ray stopping the sweep attempt from Man. Man not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ray scoring with some ground and pound. Man pulls Ray in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ray pushes down on Man's leg and manages to get into half guard. Man holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Ray tries to stand but can't do so whilst Man controls his leg. Man tries to roll over but Ray keeps him under control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! It looks like Ray is going to stand back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that's the end of the fight! Rock Man showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ray has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
