Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willy Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willy Frank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Logan! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Frank. Frank could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Frank dives in and scores a takedown into Logan's guard. Logan is trying to keep Frank in close.
Frank is looking to work some ground and pound but Logan has wrist control. Frank trying to control but Logan is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Logan has a closed guard, preventing Frank from standing up. Frank won't allow Logan to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Logan throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Logan tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frank is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Logan instigates a clinch. Frank tries to circle away but Logan has him pinned against the cage. Logan can't break the clinch.
Logan pulls Frank into guard.
Frank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Logan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Frank is in close to Logan's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frank is stalling in the full guard. Logan wants to stand but Frank is controlling the position. Logan being controlled here, momentarily. Frank throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Logan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Frank is looking to stand up but Logan won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frank wants to control from the top but Logan keeps moving.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Frank looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Logan is fending him off so far but Frank persists. Nope, Logan circles away and we're back to standing. Frank moves out of range of the body kick. Frank moves in looking to clinch but Logan pushes him off. Frank shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Logan's guard. Frank sitting in guard here, content to control. Frank is breathing heavily. Frank looking to sit in guard and control but Logan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Frank is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Logan trying to control but Frank is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Logan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Frank can't keep his opponent in guard - Logan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Logan wants to control but Frank is keeping him busy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Frank trying to control here.
Logan is keen to just control but Frank is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Willy Frank will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Frank tries to clinch but Logan is having none of it. A slapping leg kick lands for Logan.

Frank gets a double leg takedown into Logan's guard. Frank postures up.
Logan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Frank is trying is best to control the position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Logan wants to stand up but Frank is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Frank keeping hold of Logan's head, controlling as best he can. Frank is looking to control Logan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Frank avoid being mounted? Frank makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Frank. Willy Frank overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Frank has a closed guard, preventing Logan from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Logan with a flurry of punches that miss. Frank is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Logan is controlling him. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Frank pulls Logan in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Logan as Frank shoots in. Frank scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Logan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Frank sprawls well initially but Logan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Logan is trying to control the action in half guard but Frank is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Logan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Frank knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Frank on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Frank is trying to maintain the position but Logan is very close to passing his half guard. Logan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Frank is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Logan clinches up against the cage. Logan tries for a takedown. No joy.
Frank is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Logan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Logan manages to break the clinch.
Logan scores with a jab to the body. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Logan drives through and clinches with Frank against the cage.
Frank has Logan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Logan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willy Frank. That's going to take a lot out of him. Logan pulls guard successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Logan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Frank looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Logan shoots in and gets a takedown into Frank's guard. Logan stands and throws Frank's legs to the side, diving into side control. Frank wants to control but Logan postures up. Logan takes a little break here. Frank wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Logan tries for a kimura but Frank is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frank is being controlled here. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank is looking for a sweep. Logan wants to control but Frank is keeping him busy. Logan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Frank knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Logan working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Frank is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Logan off and has taken his back! Frank scores with strikes from the back.
Logan tries to break free.
Logan trying to control the hands but Frank won't let him. Frank is punishing Logan with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frank is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Frank is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Frank not allowing Logan to control his hands. Frank really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Logan.

Frank's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Frank tries to get the hooks in deep but Logan pushed the leg off. Frank keeps control of the position easily here as Logan tries to buck him off.

And that's the end of the fight! Willy Frank showed his dominance in that final round. I think Frank has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
