Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alfie Stewart!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


It looks like Ted Snider has been cut.

Snider tries to keep at a distance but Stewart has taken the fight into the clinch.
Snider could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Snider stalling in the clinch but Stewart improves position.
Stewart looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Snider wants to stall.
Snider is trying to stall.
Stewart lands an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Snider stops a takedown attempt from Stewart.

Stewart lands with a light punch inside.

Stewart avoids the elbow strike from Snider, against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ted Snider.
Stewart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Snider paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stewart.
Snider takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jab, jab by Stewart - just one landing.
Stewart throws a right and a left that Snider avoids nicely.
Snider appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Stewart fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Snider sprawls well initially but Stewart persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Stewart takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Stewart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Stewart is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Oh Snider is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stewart is looking to advance position but Snider won't allow it.

Stewart has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Snider defend it? Stewart steps over the head and cranks it - Snider is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stewart!
