Hunter has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Owens is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hunter.

Hunter is looking to regain half guard here but Owens keeps moving and retains side control.
Hunter wants to control but Owens postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Owens working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Hunter turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Owens off and cradles Hunter's limp body as Owens celebrates with his corner.
