Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Sann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Boyette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trent Boyette will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Sann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trent Boyette!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sann pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boyette stuffs the takedown attempt from Sann. Sann gets slowly back to his feet.
Sann keeps the fight on the outside.
Sann went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Boyette throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Boyette takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sann takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Boyette. Sann shrugs it off though.

Sann closes the distance and clinches.
Sann is looking to take this one to the mat.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Sann.

Sann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sann drops down looking for an ankle pick but Boyette pulls his leg out and moves away.

Sann scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Boyette doesn't seem bothered though.

Boyette instigates a clinch.

Sann breaks from the clinch.
Boyette dives in for a single leg takedown but Sann sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Sann fails with the takedown.
Boyette tries a head kick but it misses.
Sann half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Sann moves into the clinch successfully.
Sann tries to pull guard but Boyette won't allow it.
Boyette misses with a hook from the clinch.
Boyette manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sann keeps the fight on the outside.
Trent Boyette seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sann has Boyette up against the cage in a clinch.
Sann has Boyette pressed against the cage, preventing Boyette from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Boyette trying to control the position but instead, Sann has worked for underhooks and has pushed Boyette into the cage.

Sann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Boyette counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Sann jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Boyette walks away with a smile on his face. Sann gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Boyette misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sann moves into range and clinches up with Boyette.
Sann is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Sann has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Boyette after a bit of a struggle.
Sann goes for a takedown in the clinch but Boyette prevents it.
Boyette is looking to control Sann's arms but Sann gets an underhook and turns him. Now Boyette has his back to the cage.
Sann changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boyette fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Boyette stuffs the takedown.

Sann fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Boyette to the ground. Sann is now in Boyette's guard.
Sann might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Boyette working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sann.
Sann scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Sann throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Boyette works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sann connects with a couple of short punches.

Sann stands and steps away. Boyette gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Sann goes for a double leg but Boyette avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Boyette continues to drive forward.
Boyette moves out of range of the body kick from Sann.
Sann checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Sann tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Boyette gets caught napping as Sann dives in and scores a takedown. Boyette manages to retain guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

With the fighters up against the cage, Sann throws an elbow but misses.
Sann is looking to control Boyette's arms but Boyette gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sann has his back to the cage.

Sann breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boyette is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sann shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boyette but Boyette pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boyette uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sann.
Boyette is breathing heavily.
Sann misses with a wild combination.

Boyette throws a sloppy head kick and Sann moves out of range easily.
Sann appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Sann looks for a takedown but Boyette sprawls well.

Boyette tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sann avoids it.
Sann digs a right hand into Boyette's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Boyette's gas tank.

Boyette manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Sann tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Boyette smiles and moves away.
Sann comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sann tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sann will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Boyette lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sann will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boyette changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

As Sann backs off Boyette throws a huge counter combo but Sann manages to avoid it all.
Sann takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Trent Boyette seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Sann shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Boyette manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Boyette is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sann is controlling him.
Boyette is looking to stand back up but Sann counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Boyette.
Boyette looks like he's trying to stand up.

Sann decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Sann moves into the clinch successfully.

Sann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boyette stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boyette wants it to stay on the feet.
Sann misses with a two punch combination.

Sann has closed the distance and engaged Boyette in a clinch.
Sann is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
