The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lurendrejer jabs Michalek to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lurendrejer misses the shot to the body.
Michalek on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Michalek circles away from the clinch attempt.
Michalek moves out of range of the leg kick from Lurendrejer.

Michalek attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Lurendrejer tries to counter with a clinch but Michalek shakes him off and moves away.

Lurendrejer throws a body shot but no joy.

Michalek ducks under a wild hook from Lurendrejer.
Michalek takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lurendrejer misses with a jab, cross combination.

Michalek throws a hook but Lurendrejer blocks it.
And Lurendrejer tries to counter it with a takedown but Michalek pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Lurendrejer tries to close the distance and clinch but Michalek swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lurendrejer missing with a left hand there. Michalek was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A low kick from Lurendrejer misses
and Michalek counters with a body kick that stops Lurendrejer in his tracks momentarily.
Lurendrejer connects with a crisp jab.
Lurendrejer feints and then cracks Michalek's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Michalek down.

It looks like Shananigan Lurendrejer has been cut.
Michalek looks to score with a jab to the body but Lurendrejer is just out of range.
Michalek tests Lurendrejer's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Lurendrejer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Michalek.

We've been told by Michalek's head coaches at Nights Watch MMA Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Lurendrejer motions for Michalek to come forward. Lurendrejer throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Michalek circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Lurendrejer drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Michalek follows Lurendrejer to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Milan Michalek!
Milan Michalek really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fury Nutrition Inc. logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
