Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Roxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Fleming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fleming has chosen T.N.T. as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mitch Roxton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Fleming!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roxton swats away the attempt to clinch by Fleming.
Roxton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fleming.
Roxton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Roxton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Roxton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fleming sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roxton somewhat.

It looks like Scott Fleming has been cut.
Fleming tries to close the distance and clinch but Roxton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fleming seems to be looking for submissions.

Fleming is working for a kimura but Roxton is defending it quite comfortably.
Roxton tries to roll over but Fleming keeps him under control.
We've been hearing good reports from Roxton's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Roxton enables Fleming to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Roxton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fleming throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Roxton escapes and throws Fleming's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Horrible takedown attempt by Roxton or perhaps it was just good defense by Fleming, which made it look bad.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fleming, as that shot connected.
Roxton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fleming sprawls well. Fleming wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Roxton gets slowly back to his feet.

Fleming turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Roxton fakes the body blow, causing Fleming to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Fleming goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
