Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Yamaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaique Mateus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Yamaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaique Mateus! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mateus shoots in looking for a takedown. Yamaki tries to sprawl out of it but Mateus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yamaki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yamaki throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mateus takes a kick to the side of the head. Yamaki lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mateus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Yamaki throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mateus's head.
It looks like Kaique Mateus has been cut. Yamaki keeps Mateus at a distance using the push kick. Yamaki scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Mateus fails in his attempt to clinch. Mateus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yamaki is fending him off so far but Mateus persists. Nope, Yamaki circles away and we're back to standing. Yamaki lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A solid leg kick lands there for Yamaki.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mateus looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yamaki lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Whack! Yamaki lands a heavy head kick that drops Mateus. The ref tackles Yamaki to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mateus was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Kenji Yamaki!
