The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Falicei to the mat! Falicei manages to get full guard.
Falicei looking for a sweep. Not yet Falicei, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jenkins content to stall in guard here.
Falicei on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Falicei tries to get out of the position.
Jenkins is pushing down on Falicei's leg trying to pass to half guard. Falicei is fighting to maintain full guard but Jenkins has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jenkins lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Falicei is in trouble now - Jenkins has advanced to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
