Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dim Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reyaldo Ramon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reyaldo Ramon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dim Sung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reyaldo Ramon!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramon clinches up with Sung and pushes him back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Ramon tries to throw a body punch but Sung avoids it by throwing Ramon back against the cage.
Ramon misses with a punch to the body.
Ramon lands a left hand.


It looks like Dim Sung has been cut.
Sung has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ramon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sung displaying some good clinch control by pressing Ramon up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramon throws a head punch that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramon swings wildly with an uppercut but Sung uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sung blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sung blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ramon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sung lands a hook that snaps the head of Ramon backwards.
Ramon misses with a punch to the body.
Sung blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ramon goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ramon letting Sung take a breather here.
Ramon lands a shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ramon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sung blocking some punches.
Ramon misses with a body punch.

Sung lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.


It looks like Reyaldo Ramon has been cut.
Sung lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ramon.
Sung works on Ramon's body with a couple of short punches.
Sung blocks an uppercut.
Ramon misses with some punches.

Sung tries to score a body lock takedown but Ramon shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Sung turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sung manages to end up in side control.

Sung looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ramon gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sung looking to control and managing it successfully.
Ramon has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Sung misses with punches from the back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sung is not going to allow Ramon to sit and survive in this position.
Sung has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Ramon's body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dim Sung dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Sung fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ramon on the side of the head.
Ramon avoids the body shot from Sung.
Sung lands a jab to Ramon's midsection.

Sung instigates a clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Sung.
Sung lands a nice uppercut.
Sung lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Sung makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Ramon is breathing heavily.
Sung blocks a body shot from Ramon.

Ramon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Ramon has a couple of punches blocked by Sung.
Sung blocks a punch to the side of the head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ramon takes a shot to the head.
Ramon tries to throw a body punch but Sung avoids it by throwing Ramon back against the cage.
Sung blocks a body shot from Ramon.
Sung lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ramon backwards.
Sung scores with a shoulder strike.
Ramon throws a punch but it's blocked by Sung.
Ramon misses with a hook from the clinch.
Ramon tries to work over Sung's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ramon is pressed up against the cage. Sung has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ramon down to the mat. Ramon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ramon takes the fight into the clinch.
Sung lands a body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sung lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ramon backwards.
Sung blocks a body shot from Ramon.
Ramon throws a head punch that misses.
Sung's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ramon misses with a short punch on the inside.
Sung lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.


Ramon is rocked!
Sung creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Ramon with a big uppercut! Ramon tries to clinch up but Sung pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Ramon to the mat! Ramon covers up and Sung unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dim Sung!
Dim Sung bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
