Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Sigit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigit kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The S.I.G.I.T. - Provocateur. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, The Sigit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Patton! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patton has managed to clinch.
Patton tries to work over Sigit's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Patton told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Sigit has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Patton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. We've been hearing reports that Sigit has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Patton lands a hook to the side of the head. A short uppercut from Patton. Sigit has Patton pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Patton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Patton lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Patton is pressed up against the cage. Sigit has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Patton down to the mat. Patton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Sigit. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sigit ducks under a wild hook from Patton. Sigit appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Sigit slips a jab from Patton. Sigit gets tackled into the cage by Patton. Patton maintains the clinch. Patton throws a punch but it's blocked by Sigit. Patton misses with the head strike.

Patton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sigit moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Patton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sigit counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sigit throws a jab but it's blocked by Patton. Sigit dives in and scores a takedown into Patton's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sigit is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Patton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Patton is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Sigit looking to pass the guard. Patton working a defensive guard here.
Patton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sigit wants to control from the top but Patton keeps moving. Sigit is pushing down on Patton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Patton is fighting to maintain full guard but Sigit has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sigit is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Patton sees it coming and defends easily. Patton makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Patton. Patton has his hands on Sigit's head, controlling the position. Sigit wants to pass the guard but Patton is keeping the position. Patton tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sigit wants to control from the top but Patton keeps moving. Sigit drops back looking for a leg! Patton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Patton manages to kick Sigit off! Sigit jumps back into Patton's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sigit loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Patton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Patton moves into the clinch successfully.

Patton lands with a short head shot on the inside. Sigit gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Patton is trying to get back to full guard. Sigit tries to pass the half guard into mount. Patton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Patton is trying to get back to full guard. Sigit trying to mount his opponent but Patton defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Patton is looking for a sweep. Sigit is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sigit is trying to work for a kimura but Patton is defending well.
Patton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Patton is refusing to be controlled, as Sigit sits in half guard. Patton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sigit is working away from the top position though. Sigit looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Patton wants to control but Sigit is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rick Patton will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Oooooh!!! Patton has knocked Sigit down with a huge combo! Patton steps away and waves a wobbly Sigit back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Sigit is rocked!
It looks like The Sigit has been cut. The Sigit is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sigit drives through with a takedown into Patton's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sigit's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Patton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Patton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sigit is one step ahead there. Sigit passes Patton's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Patton has his hands clasped together around Sigit's back. He's all about the action. The Sigit overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sigit is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Patton is just riding it out for now. Sigit eventually gives up the hold.

Sigit frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sigit avoids the attempt from Patton to control. Sigit lands a heavy elbow. Sigit jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Patton manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sigit trying to control the action but Patton is working from the bottom. Patton is looking for a sweep. Patton can't do much from the bottom here. Sigit thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Patton is trying to improve his position. Sigit tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Patton is looking for a sweep.

Sigit is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Patton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Patton sneaks back into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The Sigit dominated that second round. The cut man is working on The Sigit's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Sigit fails with the takedown. Sigit looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Patton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sigit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Patton misses the jab. Patton thows a left - swing and a miss! Sigit tries to counter with a takedown but Patton is quick to defend against it. Patton pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Sigit will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Sigit. That's going to take a lot out of him. A lazy left from Patton finds it's target. Patton scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Rick Patton seems to be getting the better of the standup. Patton moves into range and clinches up with Sigit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patton lands with a short head shot on the inside. Sigit has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rick Patton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Patton throws a body punch but Sigit moves out of range. Sigit drops down looking for a counter takedown but Patton sprawls and moves away. Patton clinches with his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patton tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Sigit is looking to take this one to the mat. Sigit has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Patton after a bit of a struggle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Patton lands with a light punch inside. Sigit is trying to drag Patton to the mat but Patton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Patton swings wildly with an uppercut but Sigit uses good head movement to avoid it. Patton has a couple of punches blocked by Sigit.
Sigit has Patton pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Patton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Patton breaks from the clinch.
Sigit fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Patton misses with a hook. Sigit dives in and grabs Patton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Patton pushes down on Sigit's head and hops out. Patton misses with a straight right. Sigit half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Patton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sigit was well out of range. Poor timing from Patton. Patton drops Sigit with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sigit looks back up at him and smiles so Patton waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Sigit is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rick Patton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Patton misses with a straight left. Sigit avoids the body shot from Patton.
Patton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sigit swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sigit feinted with a counter takedown. Patton connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Sigit out cold! This one is over in a flash!
