0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raiden Jones! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Sims stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Sims trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones looking to control.
Sims wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sims is stalling in the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones trying to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Raiden Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones clinches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sims is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jones wants to sweep but no luck.

Sims wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard. Sims decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sims sprawls well. Sims wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Sims moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sims fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sims but Sims pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jones misses with a few strikes there.
It looked like Sims was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jones. Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sims quickly recovers to half guard. Sims makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sims. Sims wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position. Sims keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Sims can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to control from the top but Sims keeps moving. Jones wants to stand but Sims is controlling his posture from full guard. Sims wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Sims is working hard here to advance position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sims doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noe Sims. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sims is breathing heavily. Sims changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Sims manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sims has control of an arm but Jones manages to advance to Sims's back! Jones looking for the choke from the back. Sims breaks Jones's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Noe Sims will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sims is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Jones is looking to get to half guard.
