Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charm Demarsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Jones!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demarsh tries to clinch up.

Jones fails to pull guard.
Jones trying to stall but Demarsh improves his position.
Demarsh stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Demarsh has had enough of the clinch but Jones keeps him there for the moment.

Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Jones tries to keep at a distance but Demarsh has taken the fight into the clinch.

Demarsh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tom Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jones takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Demarsh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Charm Demarsh dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Jones throws a series of punches but Demarsh avoids them all with ease.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jones slips a nice elbow through Demarsh's hands, connecting with Demarsh's forehead.
Jones looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Demarsh tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Charm Demarsh will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Demarsh fails in his attempt to clinch.
Demarsh moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
