Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Paxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dennis Marques!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paxon stuffs the takedown attempt from Marques. Marques gets slowly back to his feet.
Paxon swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Marques shoots and misses
and Paxon counters with a one-two to the body.
Marques takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Marques shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paxon sprawls well. Paxon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marques gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Marques. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Marques shoots in looking for a takedown but Paxon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marques's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Paxon leaves Marques with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Paxon lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Marques misses with a takedown
and Paxon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Marques thinking.
Marques is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paxon throws the kick towards the body but Marques avoids it.
Paxon moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Paxon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Paxon lands a left and a right that send Marques crashing to the mat, dazed. Paxon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Marques is rocked!
It looks like Dennis Marques has been cut.
Marques walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Paxon! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Warren Paxon!
