Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jay Zol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waz Guishard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Jay Zol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Waz Guishard! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zol looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Guishard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zol is aware though and is defending well. Zol got a little sloppy there for a moment and Guishard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zol has managed to get both his arms back between Guishard's legs - danger averted. Guishard has momentary wrist control but Zol slips an elbow through the middle. Zol will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zol throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Zol advances to half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Zol lands a nice short elbow. Zol passes to full mount! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Guishard can do anything to dispel that myth. Zol postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Guishard looks a forlorn figure.
Guishard is looking to get to half guard. Zol pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. This has been an exciting period of action! Guishard is trying desperately to improve position. Guishard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zol breaks from Guishard's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zol looking to finish Guishard with some ground and pound. This is bad for Guishard! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zol scoring with strikes but Guishard is staying in there.
It looks like Waz Guishard has been cut. Zol pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Guishard is rocked! Guishard tries to reverse the position but Zol maintains control. Guishard is still in real trouble! Can Zol finish him? Guishard tries to hold on but Zol postures up. Zol postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Guishard looks a forlorn figure.
Zol drops a big elbow. That's hurt Guishard! More shots from Zol and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
