The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe feints and as Best raises his hands in defense, Watanabe changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Best is looking to stand up but Watanabe isn't so interested in that idea.
Watanabe is stalling in the full guard.
Watanabe wants to get up but he can't break Best's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Watanabe is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Best isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Watanabe stacks Best on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Watanabe!
