Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rubin Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes into the arena with Bob Dylan - Hurricane blaring out of the sound system. Rogers has chosen The End by The Doors as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with a series of wild punches.

Carter moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Nice sprawl there from Carter as Rogers shoots in.

and Carter counters with a good, hard body kick but Rogers shrugs it off.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A quick step to the side and Carter tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Nice uppercut lands for Carter. That snapped Rogers's head back.
Carter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rubin Carter is winning the standup battle so far.
Carter connects with a leg kick. Rogers looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Rogers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Carter's half guard.

Rogers is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rogers will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
