Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Yon Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson's entrance music is Can't Be Touched . A fine choice. Lee Yon Po is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson connects with the punch.
Johnson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Johnson.
Yon Po misses with a low kick.
A shot to the liver by Johnson. Beautiful body shot.
Johnson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yon Po to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Johnson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson has his foot on Yon Po's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yon Po works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yon Po wanted to stand there but Johnson had control of the position.
My spies in LeBeau Ground Fighting inform me that Yon Po has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Yon Po has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Johnson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Yon Po is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Johnson pulls down on the head and he's put Yon Po to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kevin Johnson!
A less than humble Kevin Johnson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
