The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBonis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
DeBonis tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Martin counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for DeBonis!
Martin controlling the position from side mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Martin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by DeBonis, who protects the arm well.
Martin content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Martin is working DeBonis over with some ground and pound from side control.

Martin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear DeBonis down.
Martin slows the pace down.
Martin has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Martin working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Martin looking to isolate an arm here. DeBonis doesn't see it coming and as Martin extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Martin!
