Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bedford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Bedford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Worner! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Worner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bedford sprawls well. Bedford wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Worner gets slowly back to his feet. Bedford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bedford gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Worner tries for a takedown but Bedford manages to get underhooks.
Worner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bedford to keep the fight standing. Johnny Bedford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavier Worner. Bedford manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Bedford has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bedford throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Bedford wants to get back to his feet but Worner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bedford lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Worner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bedford is controlling him. Bedford tries to free his leg and advance position but Worner is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Worner is trying to keep Bedford in close.
Worner wants to control the position but Bedford says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Bedford stalling. Worner wants to get back to full guard. Bedford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Worner on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bedford with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bedford seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Worner is defending against the submission attempts here by Bedford.
Worner wants to control but Bedford is keeping busy.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bedford misses with a double jab.
Worner changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Worner lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Bedford throws a leg kick and Worner counters with a nice leg kick. A slapping body kick lands there for Worner. Worner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bedford avoids it really well and circles away. Worner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bedford sprawls well. Bedford wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Worner gets slowly back to his feet. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Worner!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Worner lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bedford will feel that in the morning. Nice body kick from Worner. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Worner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Worner punishes Bedford's body with a nice straight punch. Bedford shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bedford takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Worner is looking to control Bedford's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Worner avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Bedford will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bedford displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Worner. Bedford tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bedford chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Worner can pounce on him.
Worner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bedford went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Worner scores with a jab. Bedford acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Worner throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick from Worner lands but Bedford takes it in his stride. Worner gets tackled into the cage by Bedford. Bedford maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Worner is trying to pull guard but Bedford has him pressed against the cage. Bedford stalling the fight.
Worner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bedford walks away with a smile on his face. Worner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Johnny Bedford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavier Worner. Worner throws a head kick that misses. Bedford shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bedford prevents Worner from improving his position. Bedford content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bedford tries to pass the half guard into mount. Worner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bedford is working for a submission of some sort.
Worner is trying to control but can't.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bedford wants to work for an arm triangle but Worner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Worner gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bedford to score an easy takedown into full guard. Worner keeping moving, preventing Bedford from controlling successfully. Worner trying to control the position.
Worner wants to get back to his feet but Bedford is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Worner being controlled here, momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bedford would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bedford is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Worner trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Bedford lands a couple of digs. Bedford is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Worner can do to turn this around? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bedford slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bedford stops Worner from standing up.

Bedford uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Worner. Worner moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Worner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bedford counters by moving into the clinch. Worner goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bedford prevents it.
Worner jumps guard but Bedford stands there with Worner around his waist. Worner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Worner trying to control but Bedford is working from the bottom. Bedford working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Worner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Worner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bedford is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Worner throws a big elbow that misses. Worner trying to control but Bedford is working from the bottom. Bedford is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Worner defends well. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bedford manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Worner manages to get himself to full guard.
Worner keeping moving, preventing Bedford from controlling successfully. Bedford preventing the sweep. Worner trying to keep a closed guard but Bedford is proving a slippery customer.
Bedford looking to sit in guard and control but Worner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bedford wants to sweep but no luck. Bedford throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Worner trying to control but Bedford is working from the bottom. Bedford seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Bedford is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Worner is trying to stand.
Bedford performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bedford is trying to control. Worner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bedford wants to free his trapped foot but Worner is holding on for dear life with his legs. Johnny Bedford overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Worner pushes Bedford off but Bedford dives into side control.
Bedford looking to control but instead Worner has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bedford slows the pace down in half guard. Worner is defending against the submission attempts here by Bedford.
And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Bedford showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bedford, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
