Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramsey Rodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masters has chosen Suffa by Hed Pe as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Devin Masters has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ramsey Rodman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devin Masters! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Masters fails to land the takedown. Masters looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rodman is fending him off so far but Masters persists. Nope, Rodman circles away and we're back to standing. Ramsey Rodman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Masters. Masters closes the distance and clinches up with Rodman, looking for a takedown. Masters pushes Rodman against the ropes but Rodman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rodman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Masters darts in looking for a takedown but Rodman gets double underhooks and turns Masters into the ropes. Masters shoots in and drives through. Rodman sprawls well. Rodman feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodman tries to clinch up but Masters circles away and keeps his distance. Masters lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Masters. Masters fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters shoots in for a takedown but Rodman shows good takedown defense. Rodman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Masters sprawls and moves away. Masters clinches. Masters manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Rodman looking to pass the guard. Rodman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodman wants to pass the guard but Masters is keeping the position. Rodman looking to sit in guard and control but Masters gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Masters won't allow Rodman to get back to his feet. Masters throws a strike but Rodman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rodman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Masters on the ground. Masters trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Masters looking for a guillotine here but Rodman defends easily.
Rodman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Masters's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodman looking to pass the guard. Masters lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Rodman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Masters manages to get himself to full guard.
Masters tries to strike from the bottom.
Rodman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodman trying to control but Masters is working from the bottom. Rodman content to stall in guard here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Masters wants to control but Rodman passes easily into half guard.
Masters is staying active underneath Rodman, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Masters manages to get to full guard.
Rodman wants to control from the top but Masters keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ramsey Rodman will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Masters fails with a takedown attempt. Masters rushes Rodman and presses him up against the ropes. Masters prevents the takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Masters wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rodman has him pressed against the ropes. Masters blocks a body shot from Rodman. Masters wants to get back to striking at distance but Rodman won't allow it.
Rodman is pressed up against the ropes. Masters has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rodman down to the mat. Rodman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Masters moves away. Rodman tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Masters manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Masters shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ramsey Rodman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Masters. Masters shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rodman tries to close the distance and clinch but Masters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rodman moves in looking to clinch but Masters pushes him off. Rodman moves in looking to clinch but Masters pushes him off. Masters moves into range and clinches up with Rodman. Rodman swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Rodman is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Masters jumps guard but Rodman turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing. Rodman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Masters is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Masters has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rodman after a bit of a struggle. Rodman misses with some punches.

Masters is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rodman is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rodman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Masters lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Masters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodman tries to avoid it but Masters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodman to the ground. Rodman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rodman half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rodman. Rodman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Masters is fending him off so far but Rodman persists. Nope, Masters circles away and we're back to standing. Rodman tries to clinch but Masters moves out of range. Masters fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Masters gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rodman counters with a shoot takedown. Masters fights it but they end up in guard. Our spies down at at Cozad MMA Helsinki inform us that Masters has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Masters is breathing heavily. Rodman is stalling in the full guard. Rodman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Masters's head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rodman trying to control but Masters is working from the bottom. Masters escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rodman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramsey Rodman dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Masters goes for a double leg but Rodman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Rodman continues to drive forward. Rodman throws a body shot but no joy. No luck with that takedown attempt from Masters. Rodman tries to clinch up but Masters circles away and keeps his distance. Devin Masters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Masters gets a clinch. Masters misses with a punch to the body.

Masters is pressed up against the ropes. Rodman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Masters down to the mat. Masters avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Masters shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodman but Rodman pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rodman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Masters sprawls and moves away. Masters takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Masters. Rodman fails in his attempt to clinch. Masters slips a jab from Rodman. Masters darts in and clinches Rodman up against the ropes. Masters manages to pull guard.
Rodman stands up over Masters, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rodman chips away with some ground and pound. Rodman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rodman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodman controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rodman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Masters keeping moving, preventing Rodman from controlling successfully. Rodman wants to pass the guard but Masters is keeping the position. Masters is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rodman defends well. Rodman is in close to Masters's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Masters keeping moving, preventing Rodman from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rodman passes easily into side control. Nice work. Masters struggling a bit here. Masters is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Masters prevents Rodman from improving position. Masters takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ramsey Rodman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rodman controls the position. Devin Masters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rodman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Ramsey Rodman showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rodman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
