Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Steinburg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ingmar Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steinburg comes to the cage accompanied by Under and Over It - Five Finger Death Punch. Scott has chosen Ace Of Spades as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Steinburg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ingmar Scott! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Scott, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Scott backs away, Steinburg returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Scott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Steinburg throws a shot from downtown. Scott moves away and avoids it. Scott misses with a body shot.
Scott misses with a jab, cross combination.

Scott tries to bum rush Steinburg with a series of wild strikes but Steinburg uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Scott takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Ingmar Scott has been cut. Steinburg jabs Scott to the body, keeping him at a distance. We've been told by Steinburg's head coaches at Bloodsport Gym 16 Elites that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Steinburg throws a body shot but no joy. Scott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sloppy strikes from Scott. Those never looked like landing. Steinburg lands with an uppercut that bounces Scott off the cage and back into range. Scott swings for the body but Steinburg moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Steinburg misses. Steinburg misses with a hook. Steinburg fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Scott. Steinburg dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Scott. That did some damage! Scott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Scott misses with a body shot.
Scott throws a right and a left that both miss. Steinburg is looking to counter punch. Scott moves out of range of the strikes. Steinburg lands with a good body shot. Billy Steinburg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Scott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Steinburg went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Scott dives in for a single leg takedown but Steinburg sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Steinburg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A nice side step and Scott releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Steinburg lands with an overhand left. Scott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Steinburg moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Scott uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Steinburg. Scott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Scott wants to counter with a clinch but Steinburg pushes him away. Scott scores with a one two! Steinburg had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scott throws a right and a left that Steinburg avoids nicely. A quick step to the side and Steinburg tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steinburg misses with a leg kick. Scott wants to counter with a clinch but Steinburg pushes him away. Scott misses with a two punch combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Steinburg. Scott does a little dance to reset his feet. A jab from Steinburg does it's job there.
That has opened up Ingmar Scott's cut even more. Scott scores with a decent looking hook. Steinburg throws out a loose jab but Scott uses good head movement to avoid it. A punch combination from Scott misses. Steinburg misses with a wild body shot. Scott misses with a few strikes there.
Scott lands with a nice body punch. Steinburg looks to score with a jab to the body but Scott is just out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Steinburg. Scott does a little dance to reset his feet. Steinburg attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Scott moves into range and clinches up with Steinburg. Steinburg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A cross from Steinburg lands. Steinburg drops Scott with a beautiful combination! Scott stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Steinburg is looking for the KO!

Billy Steinburg dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ingmar Scott's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Steinburg checks a low kick from Scott. Billy Steinburg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Scott doesn't manage to clinch there - Steinburg circles away.

The cut above Ingmar Scott's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Scott takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
This has been an exciting period of action! Scott throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Steinburg counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Billy Steinburg very nearly forgot to thank Fury Nutrition Inc. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Ingmar Scott was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll be back'.
