Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Floyd Myers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Ronson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ronson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ronson is looking for the big counter here.

Ronson pushes Myers up against the cage in a clinch.
Myers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ronson walks away with a smile on his face. Myers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Myers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Myers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ronson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ronson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Myers was covering up waiting for the punch and Ronson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Myers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ronson is controlling him.
Ronson wants to stand but Myers has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Myers trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Myers wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Myers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Myers wants to stand up but Ronson is controlling him.
Ronson wants to control from the top but Myers keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ronson moves into range and clinches up with Myers.
Myers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ronson backwards.
Ronson stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Myers tries to pull guard but Ronson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Myers fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Myers pulls guard.

Ronson stands and steps away. Myers gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ronson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Myers tries to clinch there but Ronson circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Ronson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ronson looks for a takedown but Myers sprawls well.
Ronson's corner calls for a 1-2. Ronson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A head kick from Ronson lands but Myers takes it in his stride.


It looks like Floyd Myers has been cut.

Myers tries to clinch there but Ronson circles away.
Ronson shoots in but Myers avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Myers tries to clinch but Ronson is having none of it.
Myers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ronson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Myers gets tackled into the cage by Ronson. Ronson maintains the clinch.
Myers tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Myers jumps guard.
Myers wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ronson is now in half guard.
Ronson trying to control the action but Myers is working from the bottom.
Ronson thows a huge punch but Myers dodges it nicely.

Myers is holding on to half guard well.
Myers keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ronson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Ronson stops Myers from getting back to his feet.

Myers manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ronson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Myers tries to break free but Ronson pushes him back against the cage.

Myers ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Myers no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ronson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ronson has Myers up against the cage in a clinch.

Myers successfully pulls guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Myers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Myers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ronson pinned against the cage. Ronson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ronson shoots in but no luck this time.
Myers was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Ronson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Myers wants to get back to his feet but Ronson drags him back down.
Ronson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ronson decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Myers gets a clinch.

Myers tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ronson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ronson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Myers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ronson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Myers works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ronson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ronson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Myers, up you get!

and Myers counters with a straight right hand.

Myers keeps control of Ronson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Myers is staying active underneath Ronson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ronson not doing much here.
Ronson wants to take a breather but Myers is having none of it.
Myers wants to get back to full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Myers is refusing to be controlled, as Ronson sits in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Myers tries to clinch there but Ronson circles away.
Ronson with a poor takedown
and Myers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ronson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Myers to the mat! Myers manages to get full guard.

Myers working for a triangle but Ronson defends it easily.
Ronson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Myers wants to stand but Ronson is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Ronson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Ronson is struggling to control the position.

Myers works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Ronson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Myers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ronson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Myers has Ronson in his guard.

Myers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ronson is controlling him.

Ronson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Myers pushes Ronson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ronson in particular looking to stall.
Myers is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ronson scores with a couple of nice shots.

Ronson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Myers is trying to stand.

Ronson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Myers to stand up.
Myers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ronson sprawls well. Ronson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Myers gets slowly back to his feet.

Ronson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Myers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ronson is one step ahead there.

Mark Ronson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ronson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
