Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darius Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Greyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darius Parker! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Karl Greyson! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greyson throws an overhand right that lands on Parker's shoulder, as Parker tries to avoid the shot. Darius Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Parker drops Greyson with a right and a left! Parker comes rushing in but Greyson regains his composure and manages to keep Parker in guard.
Greyson is rocked!
It looks like Karl Greyson has been cut. Parker wants to stand but Greyson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Greyson is still in real trouble! Can Parker finish him? Parker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Greyson seems to have recovered his senses. Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Greyson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker preventing the sweep. Greyson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Parker is pushing down on Greyson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Greyson is fighting to maintain full guard but Parker has managed to sneak the leg through. Greyson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Parker prevents Greyson from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Greyson is refusing to be controlled, as Parker sits in half guard. Greyson punching from the bottom.
Parker stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Greyson to get to his feet. No joy there for Parker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A lazy left from Parker finds it's target. Parker lands a hook that stumbles Greyson back into the cage. Parker follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Greyson to the canvas! Parker pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Greyson has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Darius Parker! Darius Parker retains his lightweight title!
