The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osdl tries to clinch but Sonnen is having none of it.

Osdl fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sonnen manages to avoid it.
Sonnen appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Sonnen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sonnen wants it to stay on the feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sonnen.

No joy there for Osdl, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Osdl should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Sonnen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Osdl won't be happy with that.

Osdl is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sonnen's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Sonnen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sonnen is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Osdl is hurt! He's hurt bad - Sonnen fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Osdl from any more punishment! Congratulations to Sonnen! Great finish!
