Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Graush Grimshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jazman Frochzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Graush Grimshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jazman Frochzer!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frochzer swats away the attempt to clinch by Grimshaw.
As Grimshaw backs off Frochzer throws a huge counter combo but Grimshaw manages to avoid it all.
Frochzer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Grimshaw.

Grimshaw moves into range and clinches up with Frochzer.
Grimshaw goes for a takedown in the clinch but Frochzer prevents it.

Frochzer has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Grimshaw regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Grimshaw can't keep his opponent in guard - Frochzer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Frochzer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grimshaw is refusing to be controlled, as Frochzer sits in half guard.

Frochzer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Grimshaw is just riding it out for now. Frochzer eventually gives up the hold.

Frochzer feints a jab promting Grimshaw to slip. Frochzer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Grimshaw slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Frochzer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Grimshaw tries a head kick but it misses.
Grimshaw throws a leg kick that misses.
Frochzer tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Frochzer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Grimshaw with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

My spies in Ironfist MMA inform me that Frochzer has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
