Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bulge uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hong.
Hong takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hong getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Bulge has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bulge throws a shot from downtown. Hong moves away and avoids it.
Antoni Kristofer Hong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bulge drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Bulge has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hong regains guard immediately.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bulge accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bulge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bulge manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hong lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Bulge looking to control.

Hong wants to control but Bulge is keeping him busy.

Hong throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hong throws a chopping leg kick but Bulge manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bulge swings for the body but Hong moves out of range.
Hong seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hong scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hong does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bulge throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hong.
Hong throws an overhand right that lands on Bulge's shoulder, as Bulge tries to avoid the shot.
Hong cracks the inside of Bulge's front leg.
Bulge goes for a double leg but Hong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hong continues to drive forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hong walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Bulge drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Hong swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Bulge's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Antoni Kristofer Hong decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
